Vote ugly, vote often … in “The 2010 Ugliest House of the Year” contest now under way in six regions across the U.S.

  • Dallas/Ft. Worth
  • Delaware Valley (Philadelphia)
  • Hampton Roads (Virginia)
  • New Jersey
  • Springfield, Missouri
  • Tucson

Vote at www.TheUgliestHouse.com. You don’t have to live in one of these areas to vote!

Voting is free and open to the public, with no sign-up or registration required. Contest results will be posted on the website the week of July 5. The contest is sponsored by HomeVestors of America, Inc., known as the “We Buy Ugly Houses®” company.

Nominees for the 2010 contest were selected in March, when real estate investors in 19 regional areas were invited to submit the ugliest houses they had bought between March 1, 2009 and February 28, 2010. Interest in the contest was highest in the six markets listed above.

Most of the houses nominated have since been rehabbed and transformed by HomeVestors franchisees into lovely homes, with some sold on the retail market and others maintained as rental properties.

HomeVestors is the #1 buyer of houses in the U.S. Most commonly known as the “We Buy Ugly Houses” company, HomeVestors strives to make a positive impact in the community. Each HomeVestors® franchise is independently owned and operated. For more information, visit www.HomeVestors.com, or contact a local franchise operator near you.
